THE MUMMY MOT

“ The Mummy MOT with Domi was probably one of the best investments I’ve ever gifted myself, emotions ran high but so did my hope! “

- Jodie Critchlow, 28

Hello!

I’m so pleased you’ve landed on our Mummy MOT page. This assessment is just so special, one of which I especially love to perform - as well as the Antenatal MOT offered exclusively by Blush & Bump. The MUMMY MOT is a chance for mummy’s to really get that contact time they truly deserve. Get that thorough physical check, those niggly concerns & questions which seem so small to the world, but huge to you - finally answered. The Mummy MOT is absolutely crammed with those “ah-ha” moments, connecting those many dots and proving you are not going mad! OR perhaps just giving you that space to let it all out. It is not uncommon for a tear or two to be shed, alongside some laughs of relief.

It will be such a privilege to connect and resolve with you. I hope to see you soon!

The Mummy MOT training can only be undertaken by Specialist Healthcare Providers with highly specialist training.

What should you expect?

  • The Mummy MOT is a comprehensive specialist post-natal assessment for women following a vaginal or c-section delivery.

  • Thorough assessment of how your posture, pelvic floor and stomach muscles are performing and recovering after childbirth.

  • An internal vaginal assessment (optional) to assess your pelvic floor function, check prolapse or abnormalities.

  • Rectus abdominis diastasis (tummy seperation) assessment

  • Functional movement assessment

  • Available from 6 weeks post childbirth

  • Can be performed several years (decades) after birth! This is because pregnancy/birth-related problems do not always disappear on their own, in fact, they often lead to other issues!

What else will you leave with?

  • A comprehensive report of findings and treatment recommendations

  • A tailored exercise plan according to your our findings and your goals

  • Empowerment! - An out-pouring of education and myth busters
