Self mobilisations and/or massage. Taught to you during your consultation to continue at home.
Pain medication discussion, your Physiotherapist may can contact your GP regarding new or current medication alterations or onward specialist referral - with your permission. For example, if you are experiencing sciatic nerve pain, which is intolerable and you would be better suited to have medication alongside Physiotherapy, we may discuss medications such as Amitriptyline, Gabapentin or Pregabalin. We may also advise on over the counter medication.
